Injury concerns hang over Mayo's Alan Dillon and Evan Regan ahead of replay

Both Dillon and Regan were forced off the field during the late stages of Sunday’s draw with Dublin.

MAYO ARE MONITORING the fitness of forwards Alan Dillon and Evan Regan ahead of the All-Ireland SFC final replay with Dublin.

Both players left the field late-on due to injury after being introduced as substitutes during an extremely physical affair.

Dillon, who kicked a vital equalising score on 63 minutes, exited the fray with a foot injury just 11 minutes after his arrival off the bench. The Mayo stalwart underwent a scan in Dublin on Monday.

Regan replaced Andy Moran in the 71st minute and suffered a clash of heads with Denis Bastick in the closing moments of stoppage-time. He appeared quite shaken as he was helped off the field by Mayo medical staff.

Cillian O’Connor also underwent tests on an ankle complaint, but it’s not something that’s expected to hamper his preparations for the rematch.
