Steph Curry and Golden State couldn't handle The Masked Man last night
Updated at 21.00
EIGHT DAYS AGO, Mike Conley was caught in the face by a stray elbow and suffered multiple facial fractures.
On Tuesday night, he rushed back to action as the Memphis Grizzlies shocked championship favourites Golden State and newly-crowned MVP Steph Curry on their home turf.
Conley — who was wearing a protective mask and was dubbed “One-Eyed Charlie” by his team-mates — finished with 22 points and three assists as the Grizzlies levelled the Western Conference semis at 1-1.
Tuesday’s other game saw the Atlanta Hawks beat the Washington Wizards to tie their series at 1-1 as well.
