THE PREMIER LEAGUE celebrated its 25th anniversary this past week.
To mark the occasion, three legendary figures of the game were brought together to discuss the past quarter of a century in England’s top flight.
Ex-Manchester United captain and current Ireland assistant Roy Keane, Liverpool great Kenny Dalglish and former Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry relive their careers during a 90-minute programme, which has been aired on Sky Sports over the last couple of nights.
As you would expect, the chat looks at the achievements of Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger’s success, the rivalry between Man United and Arsenal, Blackburn’s title win in ’95, Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Chelsea and the emergence of Man City.
Old enemies Keane and Henry speak respectfully about each other but, all these years later, the pair still disagree on a couple of things when it comes to the famous battles between their clubs.
