TEN-MAN SHAMROCK Rovers were held to a 1-1 draw to Finn Harps in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division at Tallaght Stadium this evening.

The Hoops had taken an early lead through Gary Shaw before David Scully equalised for the visitors just after the half-time break.

Gary McCabe was shown a red card for an off-the-ball incident on 66 minutes and Pat Fenlon’s side had to settle for a point.

The opening goal arrived from a set-piece after eight minutes. Brandon Miele’s good delivery from a corner found Shaw, who headed past Ciaran Gallagher in the Harps goal.

However, the second half was only three minutes old when former Bohemians forward Scully levelled terms with a glancing header.

Rovers midfielder McCabe was then sent off for the second time this season on 66 minutes after kicking out at Gallagher and Ollie Horgan’s men held out for a share of the spoils.
