Jack is back! Guiney among the goalscorers as Wexford dispose of Kerry

Harry Kehoe and Diarmuid O’Keeffe also raised the green flag for Davy Fitzgerald’s team.

Wexford 3-18

Kerry 0-12

WEXFORD MADE IT three wins from three in Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League with a 3-18 to 0-12 defeat of 14-man Kerry.

Harry Kehoe, Diarmuid O’Keeffe and Jack Guiney scored the goals as Davy Fitzgerald’s side overcame a slow start to eventually see off the visitors.

Guiney has rejoined the squad recently after spending time away working in his own fitness, and he couldn’t have scripted his return any better.

A wind-assisted Kerry led by 0-4 to 0-3 after 12 minutes, but goals from Kehoe and O’Keeffe shortly after half-time sent Wexford into the driving seat.

Kerry’s Patrick Kelly was dismissed for a dangerous swing and with it went their hopes of getting a result.

Conor McDonald and Matthew O’Hanlon sent over points before Guiney arrived off the bench to bag Wexford’s third goal.
