And rather than treating him as some sort of basketball deity, the programme’s creators have decided to fulfil the fantasy of millions of Lakers haters and punch Kobe square in the face.

As the good people over at Balls Don’t Lie explain, by placing Kobe alongside legendary killers such as Chuckie and Pinhead, the cartoon is deliberately ambiguous — you can either see him as an awesome badass (Lakers fans) or a complete psychopath (the rest of the world).
