THE IRISH SQUAD were looking fired up at a gym session earlier today ahead of Sunday evening’s crucial Pool D encounter with Italy at London’s Olympic Stadium.
One man in particular stood out when it came to the weights, and no prizes for guessing who it was.
Cian Healy is deadlifting 220kg+ there — roughly twice his body weight — which is not too surprising considering he previously told The42 that he benches 190kg and squats 300kg.
The rest of the squad are also looking fresh after Sunday’s trouncing of Romania.
