The best thing we shared today

The UFC are filming their ‘Embedded’ series throughout Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo’s media tour for UFC 189. The first episode has left us counting down the days to 11 July in Las Vegas.

Where we were today

Sean Farrell was checking out the Irish women’s team’s silverware in Sandymount, Fintan O’Toole was in Ballsbridge for the EirGrid GAA U21 Football provincial finals media day, and Niall Kelly was in Malahide as the Republic of Ireland squad began their preparations for Sunday’s qualifier against Poland.

On The Record

“We’ve a week to prepare now for it and I need to show what I can do during that week and catch the eye.”

The English Championship’s top goalscorer Daryl Murphy is keen to play a part against the Poles in Dublin this weekend.

The Fixture list

Tomorrow sees a full programme of games in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division. The meeting of joint-leaders Bohemians and Dundalk at Dalymount Park is the pick of the bunch.

Showbiz, baby!
