DANNY MORRISSEY FIRED Cork City into a mouthwatering FAI Cup showdown against Dundalk.
Morrissey showed his strength to score the game’s only goal on the hour mark and book City’s place in the Aviva Stadium final on 8 November.
John Caulfield’s side did need a brilliant save from keeper Mark McNulty who denied Emeka Onwubiko an equaliser at the death.

Cork dominated the first half at the Carlisle Grounds without scoring, though Morrissey thought he had given the visitors the lead in the 37th minute only to see his goal ruled offside.
Bray keeper Peter Cherrie then produced a fine stop to deny Garry Buckley the breakthrough just before the hour mark.
But Cork’s decisive goal arrived moments later when Buckley flicked a long ball on to Morrissey who made no mistake with his finish.
Buckley and John O’Flynn both had their chances to double Cork’s advantage, but the single goal proved to be enough as they weathered a late Bray storm and McNulty thwarted sub Onwubiko.
