Young Cork fans in Crumlin Children's Hospital meet ladies football heroes

The victorious Cork team visited Our Lady’s Hospital in Crumlin this morning.

THE CORK LADIES footballers are celebrating today after winning their eighth All-Ireland senior ladies football final title in nine years.

Yesterday’s narrow victory over Monaghan in a thrilling final clash in Croke Park ensured the Rebelettes triumphed.

Their homecoming takes place on the South Mall in Cork city at 7pm but before that they popped in to the Children’s Hospital in Crumlin this morning with the Brendan Martin Cup.
