Days after recovering from a knee injury, Daniel Sturridge is injured again

The man can’t catch a break.

DANIEL STURRIDGE HAS been ruled out of Liverpool’s Europa League clash against Bordeaux with a new foot injury.

Sturridge has missed the bulk of the season with a knee injury but had returned to training and was expected to make his first appearance under Jürgen Klopp at Anfield tonight.

The striker reportedly felt a pain in his foot during training and was left out of the Reds squad.

Philippe Coutinho is also not involved in the matchday squad while Martin Skrtel, Emre Can and Adam Lallana are all on the bench.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Lovren, Moreno, Lucas, Allen, Milner, Ibe, Firmino, Benteke.

Subs: Bogdan, Lallana, Can, Origi, Skrtel, Brannagan, Randall.
