KEITH ANDREWS HAS signed for Bolton Wanderers, the club’s official website confirmed today, after his West Brom contract finished at the end of the season.
The player, who started in all three of Ireland’s Euro 2012 games, has signed a three-year contract with the Championship side.
Speaking after the deal was confirmed, Bolton manager Owen Coyle said: ”We are pleased to have been able to bring in Keith early in the transfer window as there were a number of clubs interested in signing him.
“He is highly experienced both in domestic and international football, and he will bring strength, competition and a goalscoring threat to our midfield.”
The Dubliner has also played for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Oxford United, Stoke City, Walsall and Hull City over the course of his career.
Meanwhile, it was also confirmed that he would be suspended for Ireland’s opening World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan on September 7, as a result of his red card in the final Euro 2012 game against Italy.
