'A dream come true' - Irish teenager on making Liverpool's bench on Friday

The Dubliner watched on from the sidelines as the Reds played Exeter in the FA Cup last week.

IT WAS A night to remember f0r 17-year-old Conor Masterson on Friday, as he featured on the bench for the Liverpool senior side in their FA Cup match with Exeter.

Describing the experience as “a dream come true,” the Dublin-born centre-back also revealed Jurgen Klopp’s words of advice before the game.

“Jurgen Klopp said to me just go out and enjoy yourself,” he told Liverpool TV. “There’s no pressure. Just go out and do your best and express yourself.”
