Last year’s All-Ireland U21 winning captain endured a torrid time against Kerry and was withdrawn early. Remains a good prospect.
3. Rory O’Carroll (Kilmacud Crokes)

The most experienced of Dublin’s inside defensive trio. Has All-Ireland senior and U21 medals, and played Fitzgibbon Cup earlier this year.
4. Johnny Cooper (Na Fianna)

The 2010 All-Ireland U21 winning captain has had to be patient before making senior progress but has bedded in well this season.
5. James McCarthy (Ballymun Kickhams)

8. Michael Darragh MacAuley (Ballyboden St Enda’s)

The dynamic midfielder has caused problems for Cork and Kerry of late. Has enhanced his game since being part of the triumphant 2011 teams.
9. Cian O’Sullivan (Kilmacud Crokes)

The 2009 Leinster U21 winner showcased his versatility by successfully swapping between midfield and defence against Kerry.
10. Paul Flynn (Fingallians)

On the panel since 2007, Flynn is now one of the leading attackers in the game. He has won two Sigerson Cup medals with DCU.
11. Ciaran Kilkenny (Castleknock)

His decision to shelve an AFL career in January was a major boost to Dublin’s fortunes and his form has been exemplary this summer.
12. Diarmuid Connolly (St Vincent’s)

A gifted attacker, his strong second-half display was a key ingredient in Dublin’s win against Kerry. Won a 2008 All-Ireland senior club medal.

Another youngster who’s enjoyed a splendid debut season. Has shown a penchant for hitting the net and his goal against Kerry was crucial.
14. Paddy Andrews (St Brigid’s)

The 2010 DCU Sigerson Cup winning captain has enjoyed a career revival in 2013 in forcing his way back into the starting Dublinside.
