HOW ABOUT THIS for a boost two weeks before the start of the Munster championship?

All-Star forward Lar Corbett returned to training with the Tipperary senior hurlers last night, three months after quitting the inter-county scene to concentrate on his business commitments.

The 31-year-old rejoined his team-mates for a workout as they continue their preparations for the Munster SHC opener against Limerick on 27 May.

Earlier this week, Tipp selector Michael Gleeson said that it will take “a few weeks at least” before Corbett is up to speed again and ready for championship action.
