IRISH BOXER ANDY Lee says he is ready to fight Mexico’s Marco Antonio Rubio for the WBC interim middleweight title.
Lee is also eager to fight WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, who is currently recovering from injury.
Speaking about the prospective fight, Lee said:
“If the WBC were to order a fight between me and Marco Antonio Rubio for the WBC interim middleweight title I would certainly be up for the fight. We are both experienced fighters and have maintained our top 10 world rankings over the last few years. I think it would make a great fight.”
