Barr clocked a time of 49.73 as Norway’s Karsten Warholm claimed victory with 48.48.

The Waterford native was competing at the League 1 competition alongside a number of other Irish athletes, and they finished the event in Vaasa in a respectable position.
The Irish women’s 4x100m team finished their final in second place overall behind Switzerland.
