'I'm not done': John Cena intent on chasing 16th WWE crown

And his name is John Cena.

WWE STAR JOHN Cena is chasing history next month, when he renews his rivalry with AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble, to seek out Ric Flair’s record of 16 world titles.

The Cenation leader issued the title challenge before the triple threat showdown at the final blue-brand show of 2016, which saw Styles overcome the challenge of Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler.

After making a dramatic entrance, Cena said:

“2016 wasn’t exactly a super year for super Cena if you know what I’m saying. I’ve heard that I’m damaged goods, that I’m washed up. Hell, I’ve been called a part-timer.

“There’s a lot of superstars who already say I’ve got one foot out the door and I’m gone to Hollywood, never to come back.

Cena has been off WWE television since Styles denied his attempt to equal the title record at Smackdown’s No Mercy in October. Cena insists however, that he still has unfinished business to settle.

“What am I doing here tonight? I’m setting the record straight. I’m not done, I’m not leaving and I’m sick of this new era BS. It ain’t the new era, it’s the my-time-is-now-era.

“Never give up means that when you get knocked down like I did this year, you don’t stay down, you get up, you fire up and you kick ass.

“What am I doing here tonight? I’m watching the main event very close because whoever wins, I challenge em to a championship match at the Royal Rumble.

Cena’s plea triggered a mixed reaction from the crowd and he followed it up by entering the ring to shake hands with Styles before they meet again on January 29th in San Antonio.

The pair fought several times during the summer in a series of matches which ultimately saw Styles defeating Cena at SummerSlam.
