Austin Stacks advance to Kerry SFC quarter-finals after win over James O'Donoghue's Legion

There were three games taking place in the Kingdom tonight.

AUSTIN STACKS BOOKED their place in the Kerry SFC last eight, joining Dr Crokes, Kerrins O’Rahillys and Rathmore.

The Tralee outfit enjoyed an entertaining 4-13 to 3-6 victory over Killarney Legion in Round 2A tonight.

Goals from Jack Morgan, Greg Horan, Wayne Guthrie and Michael O’Donnell left the 2014 champions 4-7 to 0-3 ahead after 32 minutes.

Legion will get another bite at the cherry as they advance to Round 3 along with Round 2B winners Kenmare Shamrocks and West Kerry.

Kenmare Shamrocks defeated Kenmare District by 3-13 to 3-8, while West Kerry enjoyed a 0-14 to 0-13 win over St Kierans.

The winners of the Round 3 ties will join Crokes, O’Rahillys, Rathmore and Stacks in the quarter-finals.
