LEINSTER COACH GREG Feek today said the province are confident that Luke Fitzgerald can return to the frame against Glasgow Warriors.
However, the scrum coach also urged a touch of caution over the Lions winger.
Fitzgerald was a late withdrawal from Saturday’s 29 – 29 draw with the Ospreys at the RDS. Darren Hudson stood in as his replacement and he suffered a hamstring injury in the early stages – an injury which will likely take him out of contention for at least three weeks.

Fergus McFadden is also nursing a hamstring strain after pulling out of the opening night win over Llanelli Scarlets.
“Ferg’s not too far away. Luke’s probably closer. We’ll see how Luke goes this week,” said Feek.
“He’s not looking too bad. Look, with the history, I suppose we’re just monitoring him. We’ve got really good medicals and rehab (facilities) here. With the protocols in place, we’ve just got to make sure he’s ready and firing to go.”
Munster, who host Leinster in a little under three weeks time, have remained in Italy after their 21 – 43 win over Zebre to build up to a meeting with Treviso this Friday.
Rob Penney has had to send Ian Nagle (foot) and Tommy O’Donnell (hyper-extended knee) back home and the duo will miss the second leg of their week away.

There is good news in the shape of Keith Earls, Simon Zebo and captain Peter O’Mahony’s addition to the squad. Andrew Conway suffered a slight groin strain in Parma, but has remained with the squad in the hope of proving his fitness.
