IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT Man United youngster Adnan Januzaj had signed a new contract earlier today and the midfielder showed why he is so highly rated against Southampton this afternnon.

Januzaj produced a sumptuous pass to play through Wayne Rooney, and while the England striker missed a one-on-one, Robin van Persie was on hand to calmly strike home the rebound.

However, the midfielder’s brilliance was only good enough to earn a point for United, as Dejan Lovren fortuitously poked the ball home after a corner fell to him late on.
