WHEN IRISH SPORTS fans travel, you’re always guaranteed to see a good flag or two — and this week at UFC 196 is no different.
Dubliners Ronan and Rosie Costello have splashed one of Conor McGregor’s most colourful quotes on this tricolour in support of the Notorious.
At his press conference with Rafael dos Anjos in January, McGregor famously quipped: “Me and Jesus are cool. I’m cool with all the gods. Gods recognise gods.”
And although the injured dos Anjos never made it to Vegas this week — instead McGregor makes his welterweight debut against Nate Diaz — the expectant Irish fans have still travelled in their numbers.
