Romelu Lukaku paid an emotional tribute to his late friend after scoring tonight

Junior Malanda tragically died in a car crash recently.

AFTER PUTTING EVERTON 2-1 up against West Ham in the FA Cup this evening, Romelu Lukaku was understandably emotional.

The striker’s participation in the game was in doubt following the death of Wolfsburg’s Junior Malanda in a tragic car accident.

Malanda and Lukaku were both Belgian youth internationals and were also close growing up.

Therefore, when the big striker got his goal this evening, the emotion of the moment was palpable (see above).
