SOUTHAMPTON ATTACKER SADIO Mane will cost Manchester United up to £62.5million, according to reports.
A piece in The Sun suggests the Red Devils are willing to pay the lucrative fee for the 23-year-old striker, who was left out of the starting XI for the Saints’ 1-0 loss to Norwich on Saturday, after showing up late to a team meeting.
However, The Daily Mail report that while United are keen to sign the Senegalese international before the January Transfer Window closes, Southampton are intent on keeping Mane until the summer at least.
With the African starlet reluctant to sign a new contract and his current deal expiring in 2018, the Saints are reportedly resigned to losing him at the end of the season, with Chelsea and Bayern Munich also believed to be interested in the player.
The former Red Bull Salzburg youngster currently has seven goals from 25 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
