Cyclist Peter Sagan issues video apology for pinching podium girl's bum

The 23-year-old is sorry for an offence caused.

THE SLOVAK CYCLIST Peter Sagan has taken to YouTube to apologise for pinching flower girl Maja Leye on her backside while they were on the podium at the Ronde of Flanders classic over the weekend.

In the short video, the 23-year-old says “I am so sorry and I hope that Maja and anyone else I have offended knows how sorry I am.”

“I promise to act more respectfully in the future.”
