Sampdoria adopted a highly unusual 0-0-10 formation last night

Manager Sinisa Mihajlovic’s masterplan failed to pay off, as his side were beaten 3-0 by Lazio.

TEAMS LINING OUT with 10 players on the halfway line is not something you see in football every day, however Sampdoria did just that against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico last night.

Of course, they quickly reverted to a more normal formation for the Serie A clash following kick-off.

However, manager Sinisa Mihajlovic’s masterplan failed to pay off ultimately, as his side were well beaten 3-0 by the hosts.
