UCC AND JORDANSTOWN both booked their places in the Sigerson Cup decider today in the Queen’s University in Belfast.
UCC got the better of NUI Maynooth with Kerry duo Paul Geaney and Conor Cox to the fore for them in the scoring stakes. Geaney struck the only goal of the game in opening period.
In the second-half UCC were reduced to 13 men and battled against the wind but they struck a series of fine points before the hooter sounded to end the game.

Later University of Ulster Jordanstown defeated UCD with Jamie Clarke firing home the only goal of the game.
While the Adrian McGuckin-managed side also landed quality points from the likes of Conor McAliskey and Mattie Donnelly.
