Wexford U21s turned on the style to set up this brilliant goal with one-touch hurling

Conor McDonald’s deft touch is one of the finest assists you’ll see this year.

WEXFORD’S YOUNG HURLERS showed off some of their finest skills in a brilliantly fluid, sweeping move during tonight’s 2- 16 to 0-13 Leinster semi-final win over Offaly.

It began with Man of the Match Kevin Foley helping a puck-out on to his team-mate, paving the way for a quick ball in to the Offaly third.

There, full forward Conor McDonald showed his own sublime stickwork, preventing the move from being slowed any longer than a single bounce as he deftly sent the sliotar into the path of Cathal Dunbar and the Ballygarret man completed the pulsating move with a glorious finish between the goalkeeper’s legs.
