And now Mario Balotelli will be honoured by Edenbridge Bonfire Society in Kent on Fireworks Night, this Saturday.
The group decided to build the 30ft effigy when news broke, hours before the Manchester derby rout of United, that the Italian had set his bathroom ablaze by firing bangers from his window.
The striker subsequently fronted the Blues’ fireworks safety campaign. Last year the group picked England striker Wayne Rooney to burn.
