Serena Williams' US Open opponent got so fed up that she needed a hug from a ball boy

She had lost a 26-shot rally with the American.

FRANCESCA SCHIAVONE DID not have the best of times at this year’s US Open.

The Italian found herself 0-6, 0-2 down in her first-round match with Serena Williams and had lost a 26-shot rally.

Consequently, she was so frustrated that she ended up hugging a nearby ball boy.

She failed to show much improvement thereafter though, and was ultimately beaten 6-0, 6-1 by the world number one.
