THERE’S TWO BIG hurling showdowns this weekend as Kilkenny, Waterford, Galway and Tipperary all bid for a place in the All-Ireland senior decider on 4 September.

It’s round two for Kilkenny and Waterford tonight in Thurles after Conor Fogarty’s late point for the Cats concluded an epic 1-21 to 0-24 draw in Croke Park last Sunday.

Tomorrow it’ll be Tipperary and Galway renewing acquaintances a year after their memorable semi-final tie ended in a 0-26 to 3-16 victory for the Tribesmen in Croke Park.
