RTÉ release TV footage of the ugly scenes which marred last night's Dublin derby

Bohemians condemned the actions of a ‘minority’ as an investigation begins.

TELEVISION FOOTAGE OF the idiotic behaviour which prompted clashes between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers supporters last night has been released by RTÉ.

Rovers’ 4-0 victory over their Dublin rivals at Dalymount Park was marred by the behaviour of a small group of fans towards the latter stages of the SSE Airtricity League clash.

The footage, posted to Soccer Republic’s Facebook page, shows one Bohemians supporter breach security and charge towards the away end following Rovers’ fourth goal.

It caused a pitch invasion at the St Peter’s Road end of the ground with stewards and armed Gardaí eventually managing to restore order.

Shortly after full-time, Bohemians issued a statement condemning the actions of a small minority of fans and said the club will work closely with the Gardaí in their investigation.
