CILLIAN SHERIDAN’S OMONIA have booked a place in the Cypriot Cup final after beating AEK Larnaca in a penalty shootout.
The semi-final was scoreless after two legs, with extra time still unable to provide a breakthrough for either side.
The former Celtic man scored the first penalty of the shootout as Omonia reached the final after winning 5-3 on penalties. They will now play Apollon in the final after they also needed penalties to overcome APOEL.

The Cavan native, who scored his 14th league goal at the weekend, has won three caps for Ireland but has not featured for the national side since 2010.
