Tim Sherwood's epic gilet throw clearly inspired tonight's Villa comeback

He gileted his body on the line for the Birmingham club.

ASTON VILLA GOT off to the worst possible start at home to QPR tonight, but then Tim Sherwood rode to the rescue.

With complete disregard for his own wardrobe, the Villa boss showed how much business he meant by celebrating Christian Benteke’s leveller by tearing off his trademark gilet and sending it careering to the dirt.

Things have picked up since then with Christian Benteke adding a second to put the Midlands club in the lead.

Here’s how Super Sherwood celebrated that sweeping counter attack (at the end opposite where he wanted to celebrate).

Unfortunately, with his gilet feeling unloved, Villa conceded two second half goals and slipped behind again to the Rs. But Benteke stepped up and equalised a second time.
