60 MINUTES IS a big deal.
How big? Well in 2002 it was ranked at number 6 in the TV Guide’s 50 greatest TV shows of all time.
This week, its sporting spin-off — 60 Minutes Sports — turns its attention to hurling which it describes as “the most exciting game you’ve probably never heard of.”
High praise indeed and they back it up with footage from the All-Ireland final, local clubs, a hurling mass and interviews with the likes of Donal Óg Cusack and even Michael D Higgins.
