CELTIC WERE 2-0 winners over Linfield in the first leg of their Champions League second qualifying round tie at Windsor Park this evening thanks to first half goals from Scott Sinclair and Tom Rogic.

Midway through the second half, Scottish striker Leigh Griffiths went over to take a corner — which prompted the home supporters to throw objects in his direction.

Missiles rained down, and when a bottle of what appears to be Buckfast narrowly missed him, Griffiths went off to show referee Alejandro Hernandez.

Bizarrely, however, the Spanish official then booked the Celtic player for time-wasting.

A truly bonkers decision.
