Good afternoon one and all and welcome to our live coverage of Liverpool’s clash with Crystal Palace. We’ll also be keeping a close eye on the north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham from the Emirates.
Both games kick-off at 4pm and we’ll have all the build-up between now and then right here.

Just a couple of minutes until kick-off now. Both teams have emerged from the dressing rooms and we’re nearly all set. Can Liverpool make it three wins in a week? We’re about to find out.
We’re underway at Anfield. Liverpool are defending the Kop end in this first period.

Bright start for the visitors as Wilfried Zaha wins a corner but the set-piece delivery is over-hit.
We’ll also be keeping tabs on events at the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal can move top of the table after Manchester City’s goalless draw at Aston Villa earlier.
Great tackle by Damien Delaney to halt Coutinho’s progress after the Brazilian skipped by a couple of challenges. There’s a good tempo to the game in the early exchanges with both sides set-up to attack.
Ibe has started brightly after his goal midweek and he drives at the Palace defence before playing it out to Lallana. The England international manufactures a yard of space for himself but his cross evades everyone and goes out for a goal-kick.
The rain is beginning to fall a bit heavier at Anfield now.
After Palace started on the front foot, Liverpool have assumed control and are looking to stretch the play and expose the full-backs. Moreno’s latest cross is headed behind for a Liverpool corner.
Coutinho’s corner is headed away by Yannick Bolasie and Palace look to break through Cabaye. Bakary Sako has space to run into but there was a good recovering challenge from Clyne.
Coutinho has been very lively in these opening 16 minutes and tries his luck from range again but his radar is just a little off at present.
GOAL! Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace (Bolasie)
The visitors have been rewarded for their positive start – and Klopp won’t want to see this again. Moreno is weak in the challenge and then when Zaha’s cross is delivered, Can fails to clear.
Bolasie shifts it onto his left foot and powers it past Simon Mignolet.
Liverpool have responded to going behind and have had a period of sustained possession. Palace find themselves begged back inside their own box and Puncheon eventually gives away the free-kick by fouling Ibe.
At the Emirates Stadium, it’s still 0-0 after a pretty tight opening quarter.
The free-kick comes to nothing but Liverpool win another corner. Ibe sends it in and Benteke rises highest to head into the ground and off the skiddy surface. Wayne Hennessey reacts late but pulls off a fine save to parry the ball to safety.
Coutinho is operating from the left flank while Adam Lallana is trying to drop between the lines in the central area. Both have seen plenty of the ball in the opening half an hour but Palace are holding firm.
Liverpool are looking to go down the flanks at every opportunity but continue to pass up the opportunity to send a ball into the box and Benteke is a frustrated figure.
Chance! Lallana is finding acres of space and he drives into the box and squares it for Benteke. It’s the perfect lay-off for the Belgian striker but he fluffs his lines from close range and Palace clear.
Moments later, Clyne sends in a cross and Benteke beats Dann to it but heads over the bar.
Harry Kane has broken the deadlock and Tottenham have hit the front in north London.
Awkward landing for Sakho as he challenges with Bolasie for the ball in the air. The French defender looks to shake it off but can’t continue and Lovren is preparing to come on.
Just as Lovren was taking off his tracksuit top, Sakho makes a miraculous recovery and returns to the action. As he comes back on, his goalkeeper gives him the ball and Liverpool eventually lose possession in a dangerous position but the flag saves them.
Lallana has been everywhere and he cuts inside two challenges to create the opening for himself but can’t direct his shot on target. Sakho, meanwhile, looks like he’ll have to go off.
GOAL! Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace (Coutinho)
It was coming and Coutinho delivers a deserved equaliser for the Reds. Ibe plays Clyne in down the right. The full-back crosses first time for Lallana, who steps over it, to allow the Brazilian to fire home.
Liverpool on top now and Lovren’s first involvement is to test Hennessey with a header but his effort lacked power and direction.
At the other end, Bolasie goes down under Moreno’s challenge and he’s unlucky not to earn a free-kick there.
Three minutes of added time at the end of an entertaining first-half.
Damien Delaney’s lapse in concentration very nearly costs Palace. The Ireland international gives possession away and it eventually results in a Liverpool corner.
From the set-piece, Lovren rises highest again but his goalbound header is hacked away by James McArthur.
And that’s half-time! Fascinating 45 minutes at Anfield and the sides head into the break on level terms.
It’s also half-time at the Emirates where Tottenham lead Arsenal thanks to Harry Kane’s 32nd minute strike. Earlier, Aston Villa frustrated Man City in Remi Garde’s first game in charge.
Back underway at Anfield. No changes on either side.
Just as they did in the first-half, Palace have come out of the blocks quickly. They’ve had some joy down the right hand side and it’s clearly an avenue they’ve targeted with Zaha up against Moreno.
Benteke again has a sight of goal but he’s unable to test the goalkeeper on his weaker foot.
Relatively quiet start to this second-half as both sides look to settle back into the contest.
Not Jason Puncheon’s finest effort as he skews his shot with his weaker foot out and it very nearly goes out for a throw-in on the far side. Palace are attacking the end housing the large travelling contingent.
Nothing much to report, to be quite honest. Bit of a lull in proceedings at Anfield as we approach the hour mark. Tottenham still lead at Arsenal through Harry Kane’s first-half strike.
Pape Ndiaye Souare attempts to keep the ball in play but clatters into the advertising hoarding and has stayed down.
As he receives treatment, Palace are stretched and Benteke can’t capitalise. The game has become very stretched all of a sudden.
Big chance for Olivier Giroud at the Emirates but he’s unable to keep his header on target and the opening is gone.
Chance! Swift counter from Palace as Zaha uses his pace and power to brush aside two defenders. He squares for Bolasie but he can’t wrap his foot around it and he shoots into the side netting.
At the other end, Moreno makes good ground to get to the byline and stand one up for Benteke. The striker is unable to time his jump and his header loops over the bar.
Frenetic stuff all of a sudden.
It was actually Sakho who squandered that chance for Palace and it’s the former Wolves man who makes way for Conor Wickham. Liverpool, meanwhile, are bringing on Firmino for Emre Can. 25 minutes remaining.
Good link-up play between Firmino and Lallana straight away and the latter tries his luck from range but his curling effort is just too high and Hennessey is happy to see it go over his bar.
Firmino has been very lively since coming on and is causing Palace problems. He picks the ball up just outside the box and doesn’t need a second invitation to shoot. His curling effort is blocked by Dann for a corner.
Zaha has been superb all day and another purposeful run forces Clyne to bring him down. The Liverpool defender goes in the book and Cabaye is standing over the set-piece.
The free-kick is whipped in dangerously but Liverpool deal with it and clear the danger. Just 14 minutes remaining.
Arsenal have found the equaliser as Kieran Gibbs levels matter at the Emirates. 1-1 with 13 minutes to go.
GOAL! Liverpool 1-2 Crystal Palace (Dann)
Cabaye sends in the corner and Dann evades the attention of Firmino. His initial header is parried by Mignolet but the defender is there to head home the rebound.
Anfield is stunned and Liverpool have just six minutes to salvage something from this game.
Coutinho stings the fingertips of Hennessey with a sweetly struck shot from 30 yards. The Palace ‘keeper parries it over the bar and Pardew uses the stoppage to freshen things up as Jordan Mutch is introduced.
It’s all very quiet at Anfield as we head towards injury time. Moreno’s cross forces Hennessey into a smart stop at the near post.
Liverpool throwing bodies forward but Palace are standing firm.
Full-time! And that’s it! Crystal Palace have beaten Liverpool at Anfield.
