THE PREMIER LEAGUE’S IN-form team Manchester City have lost 2-1 to West Ham in this evening’s fixture at the Etihad.
The league leaders, who had five wins from five going into the meeting with West Ham, handed first starts to recent signings Kevin De Bruyne and Nicolas Otamendi.
However, it was the Hammers who took the lead on six minutes. Victor Moses was allowed too much space 20 yards out from goal and the Nigerian international blasted past Joe Hart.
Diafra Sakho added a second just after the half-hour mark. A West Ham corner wasn’t dealt with and the Senegalese striker bundled home.
City piled on the pressure during the latter stages of the first half and pulled one back through De Bruyne’s wonderful striker just before the break.
Slaven Bilic’s side have now beaten Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool away this season.
