Rory McIlroy paired with Jordan Spieth for likely return to PGA Championship

Stay away from those Astro pitches, Rors.

AFTER A WEEK in which Rory McIlroy teased fans with hints of his return, it looks like he’ll be teeing up at 2015 PGA Championship.

The Northern Irishman missed the last major, The Open at St Andrew’s, after he hurt his ankle while playing football with friends.

Tonight however, US golf chiefs have released the tee sheet for Whistling Straits, with McIlroy with Jordan Speith in a box office pairing come Thursday.

Earlier this week McIlroy shared this picture of his injured ankle, though his rehab looked to be going well:

And today he posted a photo of his private jet taking off for the America. It looks like he’s ready for work once again.
