Supersub scores last-minute winner just five seconds after coming on

Edwin Cardona is the toast of Monterrey after his late winner.

MIDFIELDER EDWIN CARDONA may well see his face beside the word ‘supersub’ in any future editions of the dictionary thanks to this golazo at the weekend.

With his side – Monterrey – level at 1-1 against Queretaro in the seventh round of the Mexican league, the Colombian was brought of the bench late on to see if he could make a difference.

And what a difference the 22-year old midfielder made after picking up the ball, cutting inside and unleashing an unstoppable strike just five seconds after his introduction.
