Warren Gatland has named the team he hopes will ruin Ireland's Grand Slam chances

There is no room for Alex Cuthbert in the Welsh matchday 23.

IRELAND ARE TWO games away from only their third ever Grand Slam but they face a tough test at the Millennium Stadium this weekend.

Warren Gatland surprised a few people by dropping wing Alex Cuthbert before Wales’ trip to the Stade de France and after his replacement, Liam Williams, performed well in their 20-13 victory the Welsh boss has named an unchanged side.

Sam Warburton has recovered sufficiently from a knee injury to captain the side from openside flanker meaning that Justin Tipuric, who performed excellently in the Ospreys’ win over Munster last Saturday, remains on the bench.

Jamie Roberts is named at inside centre once again and it will be interesting to see who wins the personal battle between him and Robbie Henshaw this Saturday, as the duo have been the two stand-outs at the position during the championship.

The only changes come on the bench, where Rob Evans and Jake Ball come in for Paul James and Bradley Davies.

The Ireland team will be named this Thursday.
