TO BE HONEST, we don’t really know who is more at fault here.

Guangzhou R&F denied Central Coast a fifth Asian Champions League berth, defeating the Mariners 3-1 in their do-or-die playoff on Tuesday.

However, the Chinese side were helped by the Australians shooting themselves in the foot with one of the most spectacular own goals we’ve seen.

Defender Joshua Rose is trying to play the ball back to his keeper Liam Reddy from just inside his own half… and it all goes horribly wrong.

But who is at fault, the defender for the inaccurate pass or Reddy for thinking he’s Manuel Neuer?
