Alex Ferguson thinks Pochettino is the 'best manager in the Premier League'*

*According to Labour MP for Tottenham, David Lammy.

ALEX FERGUSON THINKS Mauricio Pochettino is the best manager in the Premier League, according to Labour MP for Tottenham, David Lammy.

Pochettino has built an impressive young team that currently sits second in the Premier League, having initially taken over a side in turmoil, after the London club made a number of ill-advised signings in the aftermath of Gareth Bale’s departure.

And Lammy told The Spurs Show podcast just how highly the managerial legend rates the Argentine coach.

“I’m going to let you into a secret,” he said.

“About six weeks ago, I sat next to Sir Alex Ferguson at a dinner in support of grassroots football abroad. He said to me, “I think you guys have got the best manager in the Premier League”.

Pochettino has been linked with the Man United job of late, but has always insisted that he wants to stay at Spurs to create a “legacy”.
