5′ – LEIN 0-0 LIO: A scrappy start to this one. You can see the Lions’ intent to play from all eventualities but it’s been a midfield kind of game for the most part so far.

10′ – TRY FOR LEINSTER! DAN SHEEHAN! 7-0.

Leinster’s attack clicks and Jimmy O’Brien swings a gorgeous bridge pass out to the free man, Sheehan, who walks one in on the right-hand side.

Prendergast converts from centre-right and the hosts have the lead!

14′ – LEIN 7-0 LIO: Jimmy O’Brien is held up over the line after a gorgeous team move, with Rieko Ioane at the centre of it.

Unreal scramble D by the Lions, who are clinging on for now.

14′ – TRY FOR LEINSTER! HUGO KEENAN!

Wonderful play by Sam Prendergast and Keenan dots down, with the out-half converting for 14-0.

Leinster in cruise control early on here!

24′ – LEIN 14-0 LIO: Leinster’s defence just dominating the Lions so far. Excellent line-speed and the South Africans can get nothing going at all so far.

35′ – LEIN 14-0 LIO: A dangerous tackle by Tom Clarkson during the Lions’ first real attack. He’s off for a yellow.

Fair call.

37′ – TRY FOR THE LIONS! Leinster 14-5 Lions

Henco van Wyk crosses after a period of sustained Lions pressure against 14 men.

Still a two-score game, but that will give the Lions a lift as we approach half-time.

40′ – TRY FOR LEINSTER! JAMES RYAN!

The hosts rely on their pick-and-go game and Ryan crosses, with Prendergast converting.

Leinster’s superiority has been apparent and they have their third try on half-time!

41′ – LEIN 21-5 LIO: As the second half gets underway, referee Sam Grove-White confirms Tom Clarkson’s yellow will remain a yellow. He’s due back in the next few minutes.

45′ – TRY FOR LEINSTER! SCOTT PENNY!

Ah, it’s gorgeous. A chaotic start to the second half, the ball going out of play only once in the last five minutes or so.

Doris makes the linebreak after a period of Leinster possession, but it’s Rieko Ioane who fires a beauty of a pass out to the free man in Penny who crosses on the left-hand side.

Sam Prendergast, playing some wonderful attacking rugby, is off the mark from the left-hand touchline.

Leinster dominating a fine side in the Lions here.

46′ – TRY FOR LEINSTER! SAM PRENDERGAST!

It’s an intercept by the out-half after more line-speed from Max Deegan forces the Lions error.

Prendergast trots under the sticks and converts his own score.

It’s going to be Leinster against the Stormers in the semi-finals, folks.

54′ – LEIN 33-5 LIO: The Lions fullback is binned for a deliberate knock-on of a Sam Prendergast pass.

Tried to intercept it one-handed, didn’t really come close.

Leinster with a five-metre lineout!

55′ – TRY FOR LEINSTER! Gus McCarthy! 40-5.

The replacement hooker dots down at the end of a five-metre maul.

Prendergast converts from wide left.

It’s an annihilation in Dublin.

57′ – Try for the Lions! Henco van Wyk again, a consolation for the visitors.

A breakaway score as the centre pounces on a loose ball to fly-hack through and just about touch down.

Conversion is wide.

65′ – TRY FOR LEINSTER! Jimmy O’Brien!

The right wing looks gutted as he realises he could have offloaded to James Lowe for a record-breaking score, but he finished excellently in the right-hand corner. Lowe is gutted but laughing, very funny moment.

Prendergast splits the posts from the touchline.

Leinster still marching.

67′ – TRY FOR LEINSTER! TRY FOR JAMES LOWE!

It’s O’Brien who is the provider, I believe, with a wonderful pass, and Lowe gets his 70th Leinster try in the left-hand corner! He overtakes Shane Horgan as Leinster’s all-time highest try-scorer.

The entire Leinster team swarm the departing winger in celebration. They’re absolutely chuffed for him. Scenes!

Prendergast converts for 54-10.

80′ – TRY FOR LEINSTER! James Lowe bags his second try, his 71st overall, on his 100th Leinster appearance.

Prendergast the provider with a wonderful, whipped pass, albeit he’s off the mark with his conversion.

Leinster progress to a home URC semi-final against the Stormers.
