'That pulse is always there': What Thomond Park means to Munster Rugby

We took a visit to the legendary Limerick venue.

Munster rugby is more than just Limerick, but as the quote above shows, there’s no doubt that the beating heart of the province is Thomond Park.

With that in mind, we paid a visit to the world famous venue to get a sense of what a match day is like for everyone from the groundskeeper to the players and management.

We spoke to Cantwell about the hard work and long days the staff in Thomond Park put in, and learned just how influential Anthony Foley was both as a player and coach:
