TORINO HAD NOT scored against their Turin rivals Juventus in any of their league meetings since 2002 so it was going to take something special to break that duck and Bruno Peres duly delivered this evening.
With his side already a goal down at the home of their neighbours, Peres – a Brazilian right-back – turned on the afterburners and produced a moment of individual brilliance.
Just watch as he leaves former Man United defender Patrice Evra in his wake before slamming the ball past Marco Storari, who was deputising for Gigi Buffon, from the tightest of angles…
Unfortunately for Peres and Torino, Andrea Pirlo scored a last-gasp winner for Juve.
