Chris Forrester shown red card after clash with former Ireland U21 midfielder

The ex-St Patrick’s Athletic midfielder picked up two yellow cards in 20 seconds at the end of the first half last night.

PETERBOROUGH UNITED LOST out 1-0 to Barnsley at Oakwell in last night’s League One game.

The Posh were reduced to 10 men on 43 minutes when midfielder Chris Forrester was shown two yellow cards in the space of 20 seconds.

Former St Patrick’s Athletic midfielder Forrester was involved in an off the ball incident with Barnsley’s former Ireland U21 international Conor Hourihane and received his marching orders.
