An emotional CJ Stander absolutely belted out Amhrán na bhFiann today

The South Africa-born back-row has been learning the anthem in recent weeks.

AN EMOTIONAL CJ Stander gave a passionate rendition of Amhrán na bhFiann ahead of today’s Ireland-Wales Six Nations clash.

The South Africa-born back-row recently revealed teammate and fluent Gaelic speaker Donnacha Ryan has been helping him learn the anthem in recent weeks.

And Stander put that education to good use this afternoon, as he set the tone for Ireland’s excellent start to the game.
