SPAIN’S ALBERTO CONTADOR has, in the last few minutes, clinched his third Tour de France overall victory after a largely uneventful final stage into Paris. Britain’s Mark Cavendish won the stage, leading the entire peloton in one group. Nicolas Roche comes fifteenth overall, succeeding in his pre-Tour ambition of making the top 15. As he tweeted yesterday: mission accomplished.
