Fuerty (Roscommon) 0-10 Keel (Kerry) 0-9
ROSCOMMON CLUB FUERTY will be in action in Croke Park next weekend after today’s All-Ireland semi-final win in Rathkeale.
They had the minimum to spare over Kerry outfit Keel in their semi-final tie which had been postponed last weekend due to poor weather conditions.
Fuerty were in front by 0-7 to 0-1 at half-time with Gearoid Ennis and Niall Kilroy both striking some good points as they went six clear.
Keel emerged a different outfit in the second-half and had cut the gap to two points – 0-8 to 0-6 – entering the final quarter.
But Fuerty held them off to get over the line with a point to spare and they now go forward to face Kildare’s Two Mile House on February 9th.
